First Class Liar

Image
I. He wears the crown of silver tongues, A master of tales, where truth is undone. Every word a silk-spun thread, Every glance a story unread. II. He paints the sky with borrowed stars, Turns whispers into roaring scars. Promises glimmer like morning dew, Yet vanish like smoke before they’re through. III. He dances in masks of charm and guile, Each smile a trap, each laugh a mile. You think you know, you think you see, But he bends the world where it should be. IV. First class liar, top of his trade, A phantom king in a masquerade. Beware the voice that soothes too sweet, For lies like his leave hearts in defeat. V. And yet, the thrill, the twisted art, Of watching the truth fall apart. A first class liar, they say with awe, But even kings of lies meet law.

Being remarkable doesn’t guarantee everyone will value you. The real lesson is not to force acceptance, but to find people who naturally connect with who you are.
